Castle Building Block/Olive

These gorgeous blocks are lovingly made in Ukraine by the brand SABO Concept. 

The earthy colors are perfectly delightful.

Castle blocks are a source of many-many games. This toy can really boost imagination and free creativity. Although we call it "Castle" building blocks, there are no limits to what you can actually build: a ship, a robot, a fortress, a house, or even a small town - it is up to you and your imagination.

Why is this toy useful:

1. Child is learning shapes and is training fine motor skills.

2. Building with blocks develops the ability to concentrate longer and be patient if details fall and the child needs to start over again. It also teaches you not to give up and achieve your goals.

3. Building blocks help the child to learn how to create order from chaos, a unit out of a pile of elements - a very useful skill.

4. Creating constructions is the first acquaintance with causal relationships - the child tries out hypotheses and sees whether they work or not: will my castle hold on to 3 cubes or will it fall?  How many cubes I can stack in each other before the tower falls? 

5. Building something out of imagination is quite hard - you need to develop this skill, this way you learn 3-dimensional thinking and try yourself as an architect or designer.

We chose muted earthy colors for children to understand the beauty and complexity of the world - it is not limited to green, yellow, blue, and red. It is wider. It is deeper.

• There may be some wood marks on the toys. Our paint does not cover the pattern of the wood, so it can be seen very beautifully - the lines and the spots. It means the uniqueness of your toy.
• Toys are smooth and carefully crafted so that it is nice to play with and to hold in hands, but sometimes they may be a little velvety to touch - it always depends on the wood.
• Our toys are topped with finish (which is the same as paint: water-based and non-toxic) so that different parts do not color each other. However, sometimes dark colors may leave marks on light ones.
